Ianosu is the alter piano ego of keyboard player and songwriter/composer Brian Johnstone. Ianosu creates music in the universal language of piano to bring some tiny fragment of togetherness and peace in a troubled world.
The keys of the piano may be black and white but the music is vibrant. A million colours and dreams come forth in melodies to accompany you on your journey. with pictures of love, joy, introspection and, above all, peace and calm.

The Space Between is collection of solo piano music: a sonic collision of two worlds. Melodic mellow piano with an easy listening sensibility (catchy melodies) combined with a modern minimalist approach.
This hybrid of melodic hooks, moods and sonorities brings some calm and healing to a fractured and broken but saveable world… and your world.
This music paints pictures of joy love, fear, vulnerability, compassion, and frustration: emotions we surely all feel at some point n our lives….
